  1. Proof of Identification:

  2. Proof of Good Health:

    • Submit proof of good health via a Medical Clearance Certificate (MCC), chest x-ray, or both.
  3. Proof of Good Character:

    • Submit Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) as proof of good character.
  4. Proof of Genuine Visit:

    • The purpose of the visit must be genuine, and the visitor must depart the country after the visit.
  5. Include Dependents:

    • You can include your partner and children (up to the age of 19) in your application.
    • Proof of relationship with spouse (e.g., marriage certificates) and dependent children (e.g., birth certificates) may be required.
    • Dependents must also demonstrate their identity, good health, and character.
  6. Proof of Funds or Sponsorship:

    • Must demonstrate financial stability or have a sponsor.
    • Provide proof of funds for a month showing an amount of NZD $1,000 or NZD $400 (excluding accommodation).
    • Accepted proof includes:
      • Stay/Accommodation arrangements
      • Bank/card statements
      • Bank drafts or traveler’s checks.
  7. Sponsorship Requirements (if applicable):

    • If sponsored in New Zealand, the sponsor must meet eligibility criteria and provide:
      • Pay slips
      • Accommodation proof (rental agreement or ownership)
      • Bank statements
      • Employment agreement.
  8. Healthcare Costs:

    • Must cover healthcare costs incurred in New Zealand.
  9. Onward Travel:

    • Must have plans to depart New Zealand after your visit.
